가래떡 or 떡
Garaetteok is just one variety of Tteok, and is probably best known as the main ingredient in the spicy Korean dish Tteokbokki.
Garaetteok is also used in Tteokguk (a homey comfort soup) and other soups, grilled or quickly fried as a snack, added to ramen, lightly steamed and dipped in honey, and more.
