안주 Anju | Drinking Snacks
ln Korea, most alcoholic drinks are served with dry snacks or side dishes. The dry snacks include dried fish or meat similar to beef jerky, nuts, and dried fruits. The most common side dishes are pancakes (usually with green onions or seafood in them), other pan-fried delicacies, and different kinds of soup dishes.
Side dishes for banchan sets may double as anju when meals are also served.
