This recipe is for one person, make one recipe for each person dining.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 small red or green chili pepper
Directions
Rough chop the chili pepper.
Heat a small non-stick fry pan over medium high heat
Add the chili pepper to the hot pan and stir around the pan to get a very light char.
Add the sesame oil and stir rapidly for about 30 seconds. Do not heat to the smoke point.
Remove from heat and cool.
You may strain the chili pieces from the oil or simply leave them in.
Sprinkle the salt and pepper into a small dish, then add the sesame oil.
Use as a dip for grilled or fried meats.
