3/4 cup gochujang
1 tablespoon toasted or roasted sesame oil
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons garlic vinegar*
3 cloves garlic fine minced
1 tablespoon Maesil Extract (Korean plum)

Garlic infused vinegar is available at many mainstream markets, or you can make your own.
Smash the 3 garlic cloves, then mince (chop) to a fine mince.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix them well, then let stand for at least 1 hour before serving.
Chojang may be kept refrigerated fo up to 2 weeks.
